Natural Landscapes - Mountains

It is easy to take the natural beauty of Scotland for granted, there is so much to enjoy. The mountains and hills define our landscape. There are many iconic sacred mountains that have a spiritual quality but can also seem hostile and dangerous. Lower hills can be sheltering with wooded slopes, waterfalls, burns and lochs. All are lit by ever-changing skies, looming large or disappearing into mist and shadow.
