Sandwood Bay - COMING SOON

Sandwood Bay is one of the finest beaches in the UK. It is located in the far Northwest of Scotland, just a short distance South of the grinly-named Cape Wrath. and can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike over a 4 mile track over rough tracks and sandy ground. The reward on arrival is breathtaking. It is likely to be deserted and it is a beautiful spot to walk along the shore watching the Atlantic waves and the sky. Am Buachaille is a sea stack of ancient Torridonian sandstone sculpted by the waves. The prominent landmark lies at the south end of the 2 mile long sands which are pink, formed from the pulverised rock.
