The Lonely Mountain - COMING SOON

Suilven (on the left) is slightly obscured by the higher Canisp.
Suilven means 'lonely mountain' in Gaelic. It is quite separate from Canisp and it requires at least a six mile walk to climb.
It is one of the most easily identifiable mountains in the Highlands, its distinctive egg-shape looming over Lochinver.
However, in this less usual view (from the East), Canisp is shielding its neighbour as the sun bathes the landscape and the winding river in golden light.
